Halloween Time in Disneyland Resort:

For Halloween Holiday, there is usually special event on the last Friday of September through October 31st every year (for example, the events will run every Friday from Sept 27 - Oct. 31st, 2013). Through this month of Halloween in Disneyland, the special events are only on Fridays after normal park closing time (with the exception of Halloween day where Disneyland is open the extra hours no matter what day Halloween falls on). This special event is only for people who buy tickets to the event beforehand, otherwise trying to buy a ticket on the "day of" might be hard to get.

'Mickey's Costume Party' Cavalcade
Twice nightly (8:30pm & 10:30pm) join your favorite Disney Characters all dressed up for the holiday in this haunted musical Cavalcade down Main Street. Floats will celebrate the 'fun of dressing up' and include a Haunted Castle Float decorated by Mickey with bats, ghosts, spider webs, pumpkins and skulls.

Halloween Screams Fireworks Spectacular
Halloween Screams is exclusive to Mickey's Halloween Party and will light up the sky at 9:30pm each night.

Special Halloween Photo Locations
There will be some new character photo locations this year!  Guests will be able to meet some Stormtroopers in Tomorrowland, Jack Skellington in New Orleans Square, Phineas & Ferb at Carnation Plaza Gardens and Duffy the Bear in Town Square.  As always, you'll be able to meet your favorite princesses, villains and other Disney and Pixar characters.

Halloween Dance Parties
Party with Goofy at Piratepalooza (Rancho del Zocalo) or with Buzz Lightyear at his Intergalactic Space Jam (Tomorrowland Terrace).

Mickey’s Hide-and-Go-Treat Trails
This year there will be new trick-or-treat locations to explore, including areas of the park that guests haven't had a chance to explore before. Disneyland is estimating that they will be giving out close to a half million sweet and healthy treats during the 10 nights of Mickey's Halloween Party this year. Treats include apple slices, carrots, raisins, dried fruit and of course variety of chocolates. A special map is given out to where the candy will be given out.

The Haunted Mansion is turned into Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas and Space Mountain is transformed into Ghost Galaxy. These two rides are worth going on during October to see the transformations.
